OUR STORY.
In the Fall of 1968, the journey began as First Assembly of God of New Milford launched out with a small group of people who gathered on mission to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ and to go and share the Gospel message that all may here and know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Led by a young pastor along with his family and with a high calling from God, they along with a few dedicated and God-fearing families began to find creative ways to reach into the community as God opened doors for them to enter in to serve, pray for and love on the people God appointed them to. From renting space for worship services to, in just a few short years, moving into their newly constructed church facility, there was such momentum and excitement as God continued to build His church in every way.
Over the next several decades, the church moved forward even through various challenges, changes and cultural shifts that brought them to a greater awareness of God’s amazing grace, goodness and unmatched glory. With a renewed vision for the church, came new leadership in 2017 as Pastor David Siwek along with his family sensed God’s timing with a new assignment to lead the church into “new things” for greater days where Jesus would be heard louder and be fully known throughout New Milford and surrounding areas of northeast New England.

In the Fall of 2023, after much prayer and consideration of an enhanced vision from God and His mission for us as His church, our name changed to ACCESS Community Church. With better understanding of a diverse demographic, an ever-changing-culture and a community longing for and needing spiritual guidance from the one true God of the Bible confirmed that all people can have direct “ACCESS” to Him who loves them and desire relationship with Him through His One and Only Son and Savior, Jesus Christ.

IMPACT SERVICE.
Join us for our Mid-Week Wednesdays in community during our Impact Service as we gather in prayer, in worship and in connect groups doing life together growing in Christ!
Doors open at 6:30PM every Wednesday with a special night the last Wednesday of each month with dinner together.

The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ came not to be served but to serve and modeled that for us at His church today. We are called on mission to serve God in serving others that declares His great love through His church at ACCESS Community Church.
Let’s serve like Jesus did in meeting heartfelt needs in our community as we serve together impacting lives, neighborhoods and our New Milford community with the message of Hope, Help and Healing. Hope has a name, it’s JESUS!

Kids @ACCESS Community Church is a fun and safe space for children from grades K-5th grade to meet new friends and engage in fun activities while learning about the God of the Bible and His love for them in Jesus Christ and to grow in their faith in Him to share and to live it out.
YOUTH.
Check in with us for each new monthly event scheduled just for you and your friends to come out for a night or day depending on the event for a great time of building relationships and growing together in your faith in Jesus.
