As we enter into the Easter season, this is a time of repentance and mourning over our sins Many bad decisions and selfish moments in our lives have created distance and possible separation from God who desires relationship with us. The good news is that God provided the Way for us to be reconciled back to Him in right relationship through His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins on the cross. In mourning for our sin, we are reminded what it was like to come to Christ for the very first time or hopefully encounter His amazing love for the first time this Easter, taking nothing for granted—neither our wrongdoings nor our salvation. When come face to face with our ungodly behavior, open our hearts to remorse, repent of our sins and receive forgiveness through faith in Jesus Christ is when new life begins!
